Meeting Rehema – Team Tanzania 2024

by Laura McLennan | Feb 16, 2024 | Tanzania 2024 | 0 comments

6 ½ years ago, we met Rehema in Tanzania. She was ten years old and had a life-threatening cardiac condition that required surgical correction. After 15 months of intensive effort by members of the Phil Simon Clinic Tanzania Project and the assistance of Childspring (another non-profit organization), Rehema was flown to Germany for open-heart surgery. And look at her today!!!! Such a beautiful, beautiful young lady. She is doing well, attending school, and wants to one day become a doctor. And this is exactly why the Phil Simon Clinic Tanzania Project does what it does – changing lives forever!
