We have had the pleasure of knowing Ezekiel Noah Moirani for over two years. We were introduced to Ezekiel’s story and his desire to attend medical school by our friends Jody Casserly and Kim Shriner. In our desire to help him reach his goals, we began making a monthly contribution through The Phil Simon Clinic to assist with his living expenses while he attends medical school in Dar Es Salam.

Ezekiel began emailing us and sharing his experiences. Before long, he began to call us Mama and Baba and our daughter Jennifer, his little sister. Ezekiel’s emails are always so kind and filled with gratitude and love for us, his “other” family. He also tells us about his schooling and family life. We frequently exchange pictures and email several times per week. It is truly a pleasure for us to have Ezekiel in our lives. We look forward with great anticipation to the day we can meet our “son.” He is a lovely human being filled with compassion and will make an excellent doctor. We are so grateful to have him as part of our extended family.
