THE PHIL SIMON CLINIC TANZANIA PROJECT(PSCTP) SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE INVITES YOU TO SUPPORT EDUCATION FOR A WOMAN IN TANZANIA TO BE A PHYSICIAN, NURSE OR SOCIAL WORKER.
There are fewer than three healthcare workers per 10,000 people in Tanzania. Tanzania still lags far behind the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recommended minimum ration of 23 healthcare workers per 10,000 people with at least five nurses, midwives and doctors per 10,000 people.
Help us continue to train more women like Jacqueline Wilfred, who recently obtained her BSN and plans to continue her studies to be a midwife, and Rebeka Gurti, currently in medical school, all possible due to your generous support!
